Moraira

Moraira is situated in the beautiful mountainous area of the Costa Blanca. Moraira lies in a bay between its larger neighbours Javea and Calpe. It has grown from a small fishing village into an attractive holiday and cosmopolitan resort. The authorities however have exerted careful control since the beginning and have managed to retain the charm and character with no high rise hotels and absolutely no package holidays! The main street is small and colourful with some good shops and excellent cafes. It has a large well equipped marina and yacht club. It has many bars and restaurants offering good Spanish food and international cuisine, the area has a well deserved and outstanding reputation. There are two main gently shelving sandy beaches, very safe and both been given the prestigious EEC Blue Flag for cleanliness.
