Benidorm, the most well known leisure and vacation town in Spain, once a sleepy fishing village in the 1970´s, now the biggest resort on the Costa Blanca. Benidorm also has several theme parks, for instance Terra Mítica and Terra Natura which are located just outside Benidorm, at the foot of the mountain. There are other theme parks including the Water Park Aqualandia and the Sea Lions at Mundomar which are located on the outskirts of the city.
